Fiat 500L and Fiorino: The total mileage displayed may be incorrect

Fiat is recalling 6,178 Fiat 500L and 9,180 Fiat Fiorino vehicles manufactured between 2021 and 2022 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that an error in the programming of the engine control unit causes the total mileage displayed in the instrument panel to be incorrect.

At the authorised workshop the software for the ECU (engine control unit) is updated.

The KBA monitors the recall under the reference numbers “013496” and “013497“. The internal manufacturer codes are “6707” and “6708“.
