DS4 and DS7: Faulty charging cable can lead to overheating and fire

DS is recalling 3,202 DS4s and DS7s built in 2023 to workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is the faulty calibration of the temperature sensor on the charging cable. This can lead to overheating and fire.

The charging cable is checked in the workshop and replaced if necessary. The KBA is monitoring the measure under the reference number “012857” and the manufacturer’s internal code is “JVD“.
