Dodge RAM: Possible vehicle fire due to electrical short circuit

Dodge is recalling 336,509 RAM pickups of the model years 2020 to 2023 to the workshop worldwide. The reason for the measure is an electrical short circuit in the semiconductor relay of the intake air grille, which can lead to a fire even after the vehicle has been parked.

The relay is replaced in the workshop. The KBA is investigating the measure under reference number “012849“, and the internal manufacturer code is “13A“.
