Dodge RAM: Unexpected tailgate opening

Worldwide, 1,372,027 Dodge RAMs manufactured from 2018 to 2022 are being recalled to the workshop. The reason for the action is misaligned tailgate strikers. As a result, the tailgate can open while driving and unsecured cargo can fall into the traffic area. In Germany, 2,679 vehicles are affected.

The tailgate lock is correctly aligned in the workshop. The KBA monitors the measure under the reference number “012506” and the manufacturer code is “ZB8”.
