Dodge RAM: Leaking gearbox oil can ignite

Dodge is recalling 281,942 RAM from the 2019 to 2022 production period worldwide. The measure is because transmission oil can leak from the dipstick tube and possibly ignite on hot components.

A new transmission oil dipstick tube with flanging, dipstick and transmission breather tube will be installed in the workshop. The KBA is investigating the measure under the reference number “012751“, and the manufacturer’s internal code is “ZA3“.
