The Audi problems
Audi is generally considered a reliable luxury car brand known for its advanced technology, performance, and build quality.
However, like any vehicle manufacturer, it does have its share of problems. Some common issues reported by Audi owners include electrical glitches, issues with the infotainment system, and transmission problems in certain models. The brand also falls into a higher maintenance cost category due to the complexity of its vehicles and the need for specialized servicing.
Audi in 2024
In 2024, Audi resolved 9 problems affecting 4 models through recalls reported to the European Safety Gate system. The database of the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt – KBA) shows 17 recalls for 10 models in the same period.

The numbers of recalls were obtained from open data from official sources. Some recalls only affect a very limited number of cars in terms of number of units.
