Citroen C5 Aircross: Potential battery fire

Worldwide, 22,937 Citroen C5 Aircross built between 2020, and 2022 will have to return to the workshop. The measure is because a battery fire can occur under certain circumstances.

In the workshop, the control unit of the traction battery is remotely charged with improved battery monitoring software. If the traction battery is found to be non-compliant, it will be replaced. The recall runs under the KBA reference number “012734“, and the internal code is “JQE“.
