Cadillac BLS: The driver airbag could injure the passengers

Cadillac is recalling 829 BLS of the model years 2006 to 2008 to the workshop worldwide. The reason for the recall is a fault in the gas generator of the driver’s airbag which, when deployed, can lead to uncontrolled deployment and the release of metal fragments which could injure the passengers.

The driver airbag module is replaced at the workshop. The KBA is investigating the incident under reference number “013166” and the internal manufacturer code is “N222358803“.
