The bonnet may open while driving the McLaren GT

McLaren is recalling 240 GT vehicles manufactured between 9 August 2019 and 6 June 2023 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that, the bonnet may open while driving and impair the driver’s visibility.

In an authorized workshop, the bonnet lock of the affected vehicles will be replaced with a bonnet lock of a different design.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14293R“. The internal manufacturer code is “2024/001“.
