BMW X3, X4, and X5: A faulty driver’s airbag

BMW is recalling 510 X3, X4, and X5 built in 2023 to the workshop worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the driver’s airbag can burst and eject metal shavings that can hit and injure the occupants.

The driver’s airbag will be replaced in the workshop.

Monitoring of the recall by the KBA is under investigation. The recall under reference number is “013367” and the internal manufacturer code is “0032490300“.
