Audi Q8 e-tron: The brake circuit may fail

Audi is recalling 284 Q8 e-tron and Q8 e-tron Sportback vehicles manufactured between 2023 and 2024 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that an excessive tightening torque can cause the brake line fitting to break. If brake fluid escapes, a brake circuit will fail.

In an authorised workshop, the screw connection should be checked and the brake pressure lines replaced if necessary.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “13973R“. The internal manufacturer code is “47DE“.
