Audi E-Tron and RS E-Tron: Possible risk of fire

Audi is recalling an unknown number of E-Tron and RS E-Tron models built between 2022 and 2023 back to the workshop worldwide. The reason for the recall is insufficient sealing of the high-voltage battery, which can lead to moisture penetration. This can result in a vehicle fire.

In the workshop, the high-voltage battery is subjected to a leak test and replaced if the seal is insufficient. The KBA is investigating the measure under the reference number “013142” and the manufacturer’s internal code is “93T7“.
