Overview of recalls in the 35th week of 2025
Three recalls for three models of three brands were announced via EU Safety Gate in the 35th week of 2025. Ten recalls for 15 models of eight manufacturers have been published by the German Motor Vehicle Authority (KBA).
This week, the European Safety Gate system revealed one recall each for Ferrari, Ford and Renault.
Meanwhile, Aston Martin, Citroen, Hyundai, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Seat and Toyota are all recalling through the German KBA.

Brake problems
A total of 3,390 Ferrari Purosangue vehicles built between December 2021 and February 2025 are being recalled by Ferrari. This is due to potential contact between the positive pole of the fuse box power supply and the passenger side footrest bracket. This could result in a short circuit in the fuse box and reduced braking performance. Another luxury car manufacturer, Aston Martin, is recalling “just” under 600 Vanquish coupes built between August 2024 and June 2025. In this case, the issue is a brake booster that may not be functioning properly. Needless to say, with cars this fast, any hesitation in braking can literally be fatal.
Watch your head
Owners of Renault Kangoos from 2020 to 2025 should be careful when loading or unloading. This is because the rear tailgate latches protrude so much when open that they can come into contact with their head, causing unnecessary pain and profanity.
Fire risk
Hyundai i10s built in October 2024 may have a poorly made fuel tank which could leak and potentially catch fire. The 681 owners of these vehicles should visit their nearest Hyundai dealership to have the tank replaced.
