With nearly 25,000 Fiats, reversing lights, sensors, and camera may fail

Fiat is recalling 24,439 Fiat 500, Panda, and Tipo vehicles manufactured in 2023 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that a defective reversing switch in the transmission can result in the reversing lights, reversing camera and rear parking sensors not being activated.

In an authorised workshop, the production date of the RG switch will be checked and replaced if necessary.

The KBA monitors the recall under the reference number “013545“. The internal manufacturer code is “6748“.
