Mazda has one recall for one model in the EU Safety Gate (formerly Rapex) system for 2023. Mazda moved in the overall ranking from 12th to 33rd place compared to last year.
Mazda’s only recall reported to Safety Gate involves the CX-60. However, we found more recalls for other Mazda models in the German KBA database.
Safety Gate does not provide the numbers of potentially affected cars in its reports, so we always verify them from other sources. Since the beginning of 2023, we have also been monitoring the database of the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA, Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt), which publishes the numbers and also includes Mazda recalls that Safety Gate often does not record.
