Four recalls for three Subaru models in 2021
Subaru has announced four recalls in 2021 through the Rapex system, affecting three of its models.
More than 600,000 Subaru XV SUVs built between April 2017 and May 2019 have been recalled due to an inadequately fixed rear stabilizer. A similar defect is also present in the 2017 – 2019 model year Subaru Impreza. Both vehicles may also experience ignition coil failure and fuse blowouts.
The 2021 Subaru Outback may have a defect in the object recognition system. The “Eyesight” emergency braking function may be inadvertently activated, increasing the risk of an accident.
