2021: Porsche recalls

Last update 16. 02. 2024

13 recalls for eight Porsche models

Peugeot has announced thirteen recalls in 2021 through the Rapex system, affecting eight of its models.

Porsche announced four recalls for the Boxster/Cayman models. Defects can occur in both the chassis and the engine.

The same number of recalls has been issued for the Cayenne SUV, with two recalls related to exceeding the required emission limits. They concerned 12,861 cars with a 4.2L V8 diesel engine (Euro 5) built between 2012 and 2017, and seven thousand cars from 2015 to 2017 with the same engine but Euro 6 emissions standards.

The electric Taycan had three recalls in 2021, none of which related to the electric powertrain. In all cases, chassis issues were the reason for the recalls.

All the recalls, sorted by model, are listed in the tables below.
