Two recalls for three Lexus models in 2021
Lexus has announced two recalls in 2021 through the Rapex system, affecting three of its models.
As with parent Toyota, fuel pump problems also occur with its premium Lexus brand. With 2017-2021 NX300 and RX300 models, cracks can form on welded pump parts, and fuel leaks can occur. Nearly 100,000 Lexus LX SUVs are recalled due to unsuitable sealant on the electrically heated windshield washer jets. Cracks could allow water to enter the heater and cause a short circuit, increasing fire risk.
