Brake assist at BMW
BMW recalls 371,756 of the 2 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, i5, i7, IX1, X1, X5, X6, X7, XM, X5M and X6M vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2024 to authorized dealers worldwide. The reason for the recall is a possible signal failure that would lead to the hydraulic brake assist system malfunction. The ABS and DSC systems would be unavailable in such a case. According to our information, the same fault may occur with the Rolls-Royce Spectre.
Risk of fire at Mercedes
Mercedes-Benz is recalling 340,956 GLE and GLS SUVs manufactured between 2017 and 2023 to authorised workshops. The reason for the recall is the possible loosening of an incorrectly screwed cable connector at the 48V earthing point under the passenger seat, which could lead to a fire risk.
Alfa Romeo Tonale: Sunroof
Alfa Romeo is recalling 2,571 Tonale vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2024 to authorised workshops. The reason for the recall is the possibility of injury due to the limited protection of the sunroof against pinching.
