Overview of the recalls in the 20th week of 2024
Thirteen recalls for 15 models of ten manufacturers were issued via EU Safety Gate in week 20 of 2024. Two recalls for two models were announced by the German Motor Vehicle Authority (KBA).
Two recalls have been announced by BMW, Ford and Porsche, and one recall each by Aston Martin, Dacia, Hyundai, Land Rover, Opel, Peugeot and Toyota in the European Safety Gate system.
Audi and Subaru are issuing recalls via the KBA.

Windows at Ford, Porsche and Hyundai
Hyundai is recalling more than 15,000 Czech-made Tucsons. The rear power window pinch protection is not working correctly on cars produced between November 30, 2022, and April 5, 2023. Nearly 30,000 Porsche 911s built between 2020 and 2024 may have front and rear windows that are not properly attached. The side windows may fall out on 654 Ford Broncos rolling off the production line in November 2023.
Airbags in BMW and Dacia
While BMW is recalling more than six thousand cars of several series produced in 2013 and 2014 for airbags, Dacia is recalling 356 Dusters that left the production line on a single day – July 21, 2022.
