Overview of the recalls in the 21st week of 2024
Two recalls for two models of two manufacturers were issued via EU Safety Gate in week 21 of 2024. Four recalls for three models were announced by the German Motor Vehicle Authority (KBA).
One recall can be found in the European Safety Gate system for Aston Martin and Ford.
Aston Martin, Opel and Volvo are issuing recalls via the KBA.

Opel and Volvo software
Incorrect calibration of the motor control unit can lead to clutch disengagement and loss of drive with 2,329 Opel Corsa vehicles built between 2023 and 2024. With more than 70,000 Volvo EX30s, a software error can cause the display to show a test mode after the vehicle has been started. The remedy is a software update (possibly via remote access via over-the-air (OTA) update).
Ford Kuga fuel leak
The high-pressure fuel injector may rupture in 5,655 Ford Kugas with a three-cylinder petrol engine manufactured between 25 November 2022 and 19 December 2023. Accumulated fuel in the engine, whether liquid or vapour, can get close to a hot surface and ignite.
