Tyre Recall: Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 (2017)

Another tyre recall appeared in the EU Rapex Rapid Alert System. We have already informed about the summer Continental PremiumContact 6 and the winter tyre recall of Semperit Van-Grip 2 and Uniroyal Snowmax 2.

This time the Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 are concerned.

Problem description:
A manufacturing error/material defect may lead to tread separation. This may affect drive and control over the vehicle.

The recall concerns tyres 215/60 R16 99H XL;

Type-approval: R30: E4-30R-0261487; R117: E4-117R-023298 S2WR2

Production weeks of the affected tyres: 33/2017 to 36/2017: DOT 6G5MD85Y3317 to 6G5MD85Y3617.
