The hub bolts of the wheels can loosen, resulting in detachment of the wheels from the vehicle. This can lead to loss of control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of an accident.

The Toyota bZ4X vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 2 November 2021 and 15 June 2022.
