The impeller in the low-pressure fuel pump may become deformed causing fuel pumping failure. This may result in the engine not starting and/or stalling, increasing the risk of an accident.

The Mazda CX-9 vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 16. 4. 2018 – 17. 10. 2018 / 22. 5. 2018 – 23. 11. 2018.

Affected models: 2 (DJ), 3 (BM/BN), 6 (GJ/GL), CX-3 (DK), CX-5 (KE/KF), CX-9 (TB) , MX-5 (ND). Passenger cars manufactured in Japan, Mexico and Thailand.
