Porsche is recalling 12,708 911, GT4, Panamera, Spyder vehicles manufactured between 2023 and 2024 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that incorrect wheel bolting can damage or even break the central locking nut, causing the wheel to come loose and cause an accident.
In an authorized workshop, the proper functioning of the wheel clamping system with central locking is to be checked and, if necessary, replaced.
The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14462R“. The internal manufacturer code is “ARC4“.
Note: There are 22 known incidents, including 9 accidents. There were no personal injuries.
