Toyota is recalling 2,230 vehicles of the Proace, Proace EV, Proace Verso, Proace Verso EV model series manufactured between 29. 8. 2024 and 1. 10. 2024. The reason for the recall are the seat mountings that do not comply with the specification. This can increase the risk of injury in the event of an accident due to movement of the seats.
At an authorised workshop, the affected seat fastening is replaced with new parts (screw and nut).
The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14840R“. The internal manufacturer code is “240S33“.
