Suzuki is recalling 21,353 Jimny vehicles manufactured between 2018 and 2019 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the impeller in the fuel pump can become deformed and blocked, which means that fuel can no longer be pumped and the engine may fail.
In an authorised workshop, the fuel pump will be replaced.
The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “013627“. The internal manufacturer code is “97HA“.

This notification is purely informative for the vehicle type you have selected. For more detailed information on possible recalls for your vehicle, please contact an authorised workshop (see below at “What the owner should do?”).
What the owner should do?
If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.
If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
