Starting difficulties and loss of drive with six Citroen models

Citroen is recalling 15,679 vehicles of the C4, C4X, Berlingo, Jumpy, Spacetourer and DS3 model series manufactured between 3. 5. 2022 and 3. 4. 2023. The reason for the recall is a software error in the battery management system that can lead to starting difficulties and loss of propulsion while driving.

At an authorised workshop, the BMU software is updated.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14994R“. The internal manufacturer code is “NT2“.
