Volvo V90 Recharge (2021)

Volvo-V90-2021-fuel-tank-under-pressure

The fuel tank under-pressure is not properly released when needed due to a software error in the Engine Control Module (ECM), which may cause excessive deformation and compression of the fuel tank.

As a result, the engine may stall while the Driver Information Module (DIM) indicates 150 to 250 km to stop, increasing the risk of an accident.

The MY2022 Volvo V90 Recharge vehicles are affected by this recall.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
