Volkswagen Touran EcoFuel CNG (2005 – 2015)

On affected vehicles the wall thickness of the gas tanks could be reduced by corrosion beyond the required residual wall thickness. As a consequence, the gas tank may burst, increasing the risk of injury.

The Volkswagen Touran EcoFuel vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 7 September 2005 and 21 May 2015.
