A seat-belt latch may not have been sufficiently secured to the rear, right-hand seat. In the event of an accident, the rear seat-belt latch may therefore break, increasing the risk of injuries to passengers.

The Volkswagen Touareg models affected by this recall were produced between 8. 8. 2018 – 5. 10. 2018.
