Toyota ProAce City EV (2022)

Due to faulty software in the traction battery control unit, false detection of cell voltage and/or battery temperature may occur. This may result in engine power being cut off by the safety system to prevent any damage to the traction battery, resulting in loss of drive and increasing the risk of an accident.

The Toyota ProAce City EV vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 6 September and 30 November 2022.
