Toyota Corolla (2023 – 2024)

Toyota-Corolla-2023-skid-control

Due to the programming of the skid control’s electronic control unit software, the brake fluid pressure can be incorrectly controlled when the brake pedal is applied during cornering. This can lead users to experience a hard brake pedal with reduced braking force, increasing the brake stopping distance and creating a risk of accidents and injuries.

The Toyota Corolla vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 16 January 2023 and 5 November 2024.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
