Toyota Camry (2019)

Toyota-Camry-2019-brake-booster

The brake booster pump motor may stop working due to a defective plastic brush holder. As a result, the braking assistance could be lost completely after several attempts to apply the brake pedal. A sudden and complete loss of braking assistance while driving could increase the vehicle stopping distance and may increase the risk of an accident.

The Toyota Camry (AXVH71) models affected by this recall were manufactured between 26 April 2019 and 6 June 2019.

Toyota recall code: 19SMD063

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
