Toyota C-HR (2020 – 2021)

Toyota-C-HR-2020-brake-assistance

The radar sensor may malfunction due to a faulty installation. This can result in a failure to detect a vehicle in front through the PCS (pre-collision system), which will not provide warnings or brake assistance and the vehicle will not show the driver a message or indicator that the PCS is not working. This may increase the risk of an accident.

The Toyota C-HR vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 20 March 2020 and 26 July 2021.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
