Porsche Boxster (2023)

Porsche-718-boxster-2023-rear-spoiler

The rear electronics control unit has been manually programmed with incorrect values, which could lead to a changed position of the rear spoiler and a change in aerodynamics at high speeds. This could impact the vehicle’s driving stability, potentially resulting in greater downforce and additional load on the tyres, leading to tyre damage. Additionally, the top brake light may become less visible to following traffic, increasing the risk of an accident.

The Porsche Boxster vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 23 June and 19 October 2023.

Porsche recall code: APB4

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
