Peugeot-5008-2024-suspension-arm-screws-break

The front left or right ball joint mount on the front lower suspension arm may have defective fixing screws, which could break. Two missing screws will cause the ball joint mount to pivot and the affected wheel to change direction and hit the mudguard, which may affect the steering capacity of the vehicle, increasing the risk of an accident.

The Peugeot 5008 vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 5 December 2023 and 29 November 2024.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
