Opel Astra (2005 – 2018)

A defect in the gas generator of the driver airbag can lead to uncontrolled inflation and the release of metal fragments when the airbag is activated. This may increase the risk of injuries in the event of an accident.

The Opel Astra vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 19 January 2005 and 31 August 2018.
