The vehicle control module (VCM) may be faulty. Deactivation of the cruise control can result in a sudden and unintentional acceleration, creating a risk of an accident, injuries.

The Nissan Leaf vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 17 December 2017 and 30 May 2023.
