The coverings on the seat boxes with an integrated back-up battery may be missing. This will increase the risk of a short circuit or fire in case objects made of electroconductive (e.g. metal) materials are placed in the seat boxes.
The Mercedes-Benz Vito models affected by this recall were manufactured between June 2014 and 2 September 2019.
