In the case of a frontal collision, causing a rupture of the refrigerant pipe or other leaks in the air conditioner, the cooling agent may catch fire in the motor compartment.
The recall affects vehicles SL 350, SL 500, SL 63 AMG, SL 65 AMG manufactured in the period 4 March 2011 to 31 May 2012.
