Mercedes-Benz S-Class (2017 – 2018)

Mercedes-Benz-S-Class-2018-recall-fuse-box

On certain vehicles, the nuts to attach the conductor rails inside the fuse box in the boot may not have been installed. This could lead to increased contact resistance between the conductor rails and, as a consequence, cause a fire or failure in the engine functioning, seat belt functions and the dashboard, leading to an increased risk of accident and injury.

The recall affects vehicles manufactured between August 2017 and February 2018.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
