Mercedes-Benz GLE (2018 – 2019)

Mercedes-Benz-GLE-2019-headrest-scaled-1

Due to insufficient padding, passengers may not be made aware that the headrest on the third row of seats is not in the correct position. Furthermore, the catch groove on the headrest rod might be missing.

As a result, the protective function of the headrest cannot be guaranteed, increasing the risk of injury in the event of an accident.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE models affected by this recall were equipped with a third row of seats and manufactured between 3 July 2018 and 19 June 2019.

Mercedes recall code: 9290003

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
