The high-voltage battery might not be correctly screwed to the body of the vehicle in the boot area. As a result, it could become detached in the event of an accident, increasing the risk of injury to the occupants of the vehicle.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class PHEV vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 1 and 22 December 2020.
