The tightening torque on the screw connections on certain 12V and 48V ground points may be insufficient. This may lead to improper wiring fixation, which may cause rise of temperature in this area, increasing the risk of fire.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class and C-Class AMG vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 30 June 2021 and 6 June 2023.
