The strength of the material of the shielding plate under the spare wheel might not be appropriate. Consequently, cracks could form on the plate, leading to its complete shear and loss of small parts of it, increasing the risk accident of following traffic.
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class models affected by this recall were manufactured between 19. 1. 2018 – 18. 7. 2018.
