The flat conductor of the starter wiring has been incorrectly positioned, damaging the insulation of the flat conductor. The direct contact between the flat conductor and the car body may consequently lead to a short circuit and fire.
Mercedes-Benz A-Class built between 25. 4. 2018 – 12. 6. 2018 are affected by this recall.
