Mazda 3 (2018 – 2019)

Mazda-3-2019-recall-seatbelts-indicators-fault

The passenger airbag deactivation indicator light may turn off, even though the passenger airbag is deactivated. In addition, the seatbelt status indicators of the front and rear passenger seats may turn off, even though the seatbelts are unfastened. False airbag and/or seatbelt indications may cause improper securing of the passengers, increasing the risk of injuries in the event of an accident.

The Mazda 3 models affected by this recall were manufactured between 6 November 2018 and 7 March 2019.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
