In limited instances, the fuse of the power supply circuit for the Intelligent Power Module (IPM) could blow, causing the hybrid system to shut down and resulting in the vehicle stopping while being driven, increasing the risk of a crash.

The recall concerns vehicles built between 2005 – 2008.
