The vehicles’ electronic control unit (ECU) has been improperly programmed and the throttle is not coordinated with the transmission and gear changes. As a consequence, when accelerating in highway driving mode, the hybrid system could shut down, causing a loss of power, which can increase the risk of accidents.

The recall affects vehicles produced between 2. 8. 2016 – 5. 7. 2018.

VIN: from JTHHY5AY#0A000106 to JTHHY5AY#0A001394 (# can be different characters, all affected)
